Kitchen and pantry are combined to form one space that balances versatility with durability. With eight people in the immediate family and a love of entertaining at home, this New York family desired a kitchen in which everyone could cook simultaneously without encroaching on each other’s space.

The innovative cabinetry design is based on the minimum depth for glasses, food products, and spices. Stainless steel and varied patterns of translucent art glass are set against a silvered glass backing. The mysterious obscuring of labels and silhouettes through the glass creates subtle visual interest.
